1991 – Five couples began a Bible Study with hopes to start an Evangelical Free Church. Bob Nieuwendorp, an E-Free Church Planter, assisted the group in organizing the new church. May: The first worship service was held!!
 
1992 – June: Worship services were held in the Pella Christian Grade School gymnasium.
 
1996 – A house at 210 Franklin Street in Pella was purchased for the church’s office.
 
2001 – March: Twelve acres of land was purchased for the construction of a ministry facility!
 
2003-05 – Construction begins, and the people of Liberty spend hundreds of hours completing the construction of the building!
 
May 2005 – Moving in to our new facility!!
 
June 5, 2005 – Our first Worship Service at 684 198th Avenue!!!
 
2011 – Moving forward on completing the Sanctuary!! 
 
Oct. 16, 2016 – Our Sanctuary has been completed enough to occupy for Sunday Morning Services and other special events!! 
 
The timeline of history does not even begin to describe all that God has accomplished in our brief time as a church family. There have been numerous relationships built, countless Sunday School classes, small groups, missions trips, youth events, worship services, prayer gatherings… many lives changed!
