God's Glory

God is passionate about His glory. Our aim is to be constantly transformed so that Christ becomes the greatest treasure in our lives. We desire to be God-exalting and Christ-centered in all that we do, not just on Sunday mornings.

The Gospel

Our only hope for a restored relationship with God is through Jesus Christ. We have a passion to share this Good News with others. We sense an urgency to intentionally interact with people who have not yet given their lives to Christ

(Matthew 5:16). Liberty is committed to being personally and financially involved in both local and world-wide missions.

 

 

Bible-Centered

The Bible is our source for truth and our guide for living. We are passionate about sharing the Bible as God's Truth. Our preaching is Word-centered and God focused, rather than focusing on felt needs. We aren't interested in being a "come see the show" church. We rely upon the Holy Spirit and God's Word to change lives (Hebrews 4:12-13).

 

 

 

Christ-Followers

We are imperfect people who desire to treasure Christ more, and love others in deeper ways.

A disciple (Christ-follower) is one who strives for:

   ~Intimacy in our relationship with Jesus Christ; knowing and loving Christ in greater ways (2 Peter 3:18).

      ~Imitation - Obeying Christ as outlined in God's Word and under the transforming power of the Holy Spirit
                              (Galatians 2:20).

~Investing - Investing our time, talents, gifts, energies, possessions... all that we are, in glorifying God
                              (Matthew 25:14-30).

 

Prayer

Prayer expresses our complete dependence upon God. We desire to become a church that practices a dependent

prayer life, both as a church and as individuals.

Relationships

One thing that you will notice about Liberty E-Free is that we enjoy being together! Authentic relationships are so important to one's spiritual growth. We prefer to be an informal gathering of believers rather than taking on a "rigid corporate" feel. Our Growth Groups (small groups) allow close relationships to develop at Liberty.

 

Children & Youth

We obviously value children and youth at Liberty E-Free, because our church is full of them!

We desire to continue to have strong children's and youth ministries at Liberty.
